How do I know if I have a problem with Alcohol?

Take Our Questionnaire

There is a common misconception that an alcoholic is unkempt and often homeless, unemployed and incoherent. In truth, an alcoholic can be any member of society of any age. Alcoholics can have high powered positions in large companies and can appear outwardly very successful. Alcoholics can be female, mothers to a loving family. Any person may suffer from alcoholism and recognising that you have an addiction to alcohol can be difficult. An alcoholic will find that despite attempting to control their drinking, it and the subsequent consequences continue to get worse. The alcoholic’s guilt, shame and remorse become increasingly more troublesome and attempts to stop can result in physical and emotional trauma which is relieved by taking more alcohol. Attempts at control almost always end in the alcoholic drinking to excess, and things seem to get progressively worse.Questionnaire
